Wow I have so much to say about this. This movie is so cringe and noxious that it simply made me hate Lin-Manuel Miranda more, I didn’t know that was even possible. 1. Acting is good I guess but scary 2. Music is really subpar as a musical 3. Story telling is so messed up, what’s Gabriella doing here? 4. I don’t know much about Larson - but based on this movie - I didn’t wanna see how A CIS HETERO WHITE MAN WAS INSPIRED BY A LITERAL GENOCIDE AGAINST QUEER PEOPLE. (Rent was good though) Like you really treated everyone around you like shit 4. “ why are u always writing like you’re running out of time” “ I’m turning 30” “ tick tick boom” - if this is really what Lin relates to then he’s even scarier than I thought he was. 5. Also curious can he portray women in another way other than a muse or a ladder to fame/status?
