看完後，腦海裡久久回蕩着Aunt May對深深陷入自我懷疑的Peter Parker說出的一段話, "Too few characters out there, flying around like that...saving old girls like me. And lord knows, kids like Henry need a hero, courageous, self-sacrificing people, setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them. Cheer them. Scream their names. And years later, they will tell how they stood in the rains for hours just to get the glimpse of the one to hold on a second longer. I believe there is a hero in all of us that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble and finally allows us to die with pride. Even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most, even our dreams. Spider Man did that for Henry and he wonders where he's gone." 不喜歡心靈雞湯台詞的我看到這段和Peter一起淚目了。隻有如此善良、正直、溫暖的Aunt May才能培養出Peter了。
...第一部叙述的是Peter怎樣從一個平凡怯懦的男孩成長為行俠仗義的英雄，如何滿足Uncle Ben的遺願，承擔起更大的使命。第二部描繪的是Peter成長為蜘蛛俠後内心的掙紮，在無人企及的高峰承擔無人分擔的責任是如此孤獨，煙火人間的安甯與幸福是如此奢侈，無論犧牲多少都不能為褪下面具後的Peter赢得一絲一毫的獎賞，摘下面具後，他依舊是交不起房租的Peter, 這一切究竟值得嗎。Peter動搖了，他的超能力随着他的彷徨一同衰退了，他做回了一個普通的大學生，認真地學習，投入地戀愛，做回了人群裡呆頭呆腦的透明，但是他并未獲得期待中的滿足。在自知能力已經消失後，他依然會毫不猶豫、奮不顧身地搭救受困于火海的女孩，原來蜘蛛俠已經深深地烙印在了Peter的精神中。
縱使成為蜘蛛俠得不到榮譽金錢，得不到任何回饋，甚至需要犧牲珍藏數年的夢，需要飽受層出不窮的誤解與長此以往的孤獨，Peter依然選擇做回人人仰慕的蜘蛛俠，喚醒每個人心中沉睡的英雄。
