Templated European Youth……無聊到讓我發笑。

以下是原對話from my first instinct:

I’ll give it maybe a 3.7 out of 5. I love the feelings and the sorrow it depicts; I liked almost the whole story.
HOWEVER, I really hate the director’s ego—he is too old.
The film simply gives too much focus to the father. He is the one who keeps quarreling with their mom and the one who escapes back to Sweden after the divorce. He is the one who causes the most terrible trauma.
You can't forgive him simply because he knows about the depression and the daughter’s suicidal tendencies, you know?
If the script is made to express the whole story, yes, it is very successful and touching indeed. But I don't like the original setting of the father. It's so weird to appreciate a good story and genuine emotion when they stem from such unnatural roots.
The emotional part is way better than The Worst Person. Haha, I prefer sentimental values.
