The director prefer using static long take in the means of triggering spectators to reflect sth, the mood of the character is strengthened by the imagination of the spectators. The characteristics of actress is vivid (亞美子), who is a difference compared with “normal people”, immersing in her own world, cannot actually think about other people. However, it is not explained why the mother suddenly ill, I think this is one the disadvantages of this film, something should be presented because it is important, furthermore, the reason wht her mother ill is the main turning point of the whole film, so I think it’s a must to be explained in film. Other problem in my opinion is that the unnatural performance of characters instead of 亞美子。
