...去年看這部韓劇之前，心裡抱有“很難再有比《越獄》或者《禁閉島》更好看的監獄題材影片”的看法。事實上，《機智牢房生活》的開始三集比較無聊，好幾次我都不想再繼續看下去。很意外，這部韓劇從第四集開始突然變得有趣。
Before watching this Korean drama last year, I had the idea that "it's difficult to find a better prison drama than Prison Break and Shutter Island." In fact, the first three episodes of the Prison Playbook were so boring that I didn't want to watch them any longer. Surprisingly, this drama suddenly becomes interesting from the fourth episode.
超級棒球巨星金濟赫（樸海秀 飾演）因為妹妹被性侵而過失殺人，法院判他防禦過度需要在監獄中服刑一年。這讓活在聚光燈下的他，一時難以接受這樣的落差。
Baseball superstar Kim Je-Hyeok (Hae-soo Park) was sentenced to a year in prison for manslaughter after his sister was raped that would make me hard to accept the truth.
在監獄中，他得到了少年時一起打棒球的好友李俊浩（鄭京浩 飾）的幫助，還遇到了劉廷宇（丁海寅 飾）、法子（金聖喆 飾）、劉漢陽（李奎炯 飾）、高博士（鄭敏聖）等獄友。大家因為各自的原因在監獄服刑，身後的故事也令人感到動容。除了李俊浩這位獄警以外，彭部長（鄭雄仁 飾）這個嘴硬心軟的角色也給我留下了深刻的印象。
In prison, he got the help from Lee Joon-Ho (Kyeong-ho Jeong) who played baseball with Kim Je-Hyeok when they were teenagers. He also encountered the prisoners like Captain Yoo (Hae-In Jung), Jailbird (Kim Sung-chul), Looney (Kyu-hyung Lee), Dr. Ko (Min-sung Jung). They were sentenced to prison in different reasons, and some of them are quite touching...Besides, the prison guard Lieutenant Paeng (Jung Woong-in) gave me a deep impression.
