SIFF沒買這個失誤。極有創意的猛片，高超剪輯和拍攝呈現的毒後幻覺堪比《遁入虛無》，但卻插入了平行時空的叙事和自由意志的探讨。
主角試圖追溯過去神秘女孩的契機是現實生活的無聊，而在逐漸回憶起丢失的往事後發現女孩是掌握穿梭平行時空，脫離單線人生的導師後他似乎徹悟得道了，與女孩自由切換體驗人生場景而擺脫了時間束縛，然而結尾導演卻安排他因留戀人間情而決意回歸世俗成功人生則略顯突兀，令人唏噓。
此片與反毒無涉，毒隻是主角産生幻覺，發掘身處平行時空這一事實的楔子，導演可能想表達的是常言道出世與入世的抉擇，世俗生活的成功并不能帶來情感的滿足，出世的追求卻因為情感的羁絆而中道折返，可見沒有一種選擇是完美的。導演最後回歸了核心價值觀大概是他認為即使出世得道，主角因童年僅有的母愛，業已形成的感情也是最難割舍的吧，穿梭在多線時空超越常人也未必是主角所求。
台詞說到人其實是單線思維體入侵後的存在，單線思維體使得人的思想對周圍信息的輸入都是“誤解”，而感知時間即是最大的“誤解”，這緻使了凡事皆有選擇且無法避免的結果，人隻有通過在某類物質的幫助下超越時間這一概念，便可擺脫單線思維而獲得超脫，從此獲得自由選擇而在平行時空遨遊。這理念很科幻也很啟發，所謂人生隻有一次，人的一生不就正是時間進程下自認為最優的一個個選擇和結果構成，永遠不會知道沒選擇的那扇門後和門後的門後有什麼。
