对盛年卡神的自恋自大和迷恋权力，有不少令人发噱的吐槽，但到了片子结尾，有个显著的升华，年迈卡神无奈放手一节，编排得非常感人，言下之意似乎是那个时代的音乐家们心甘情愿被他虐，只因能被他带往巅峰。B站有完整字幕版。
卡帅这个人真的很难说的明白到底是什么样的人，但是基本上在他的音乐世界里他就是唯一的王。中间各种吐槽很欢乐，最后情绪渲染的太到位，基本上看到眼圈发红。
关于音像的可视，卡拉扬说：“by seeing,the hearing is enriched.”关于指挥与乐团，托斯卡尼尼说，“Gentlemen, be democrats in life but aristocrats in art.”
