看过韩寒导演的电影《后会无期》的朋友或许都对这首歌有点印象，假扮小姐的苏米（王珞丹饰）与文青老师江河（陈柏霖饰）在酒店交谈时手机突然响起，她的手机铃声就是这首《Que Sera, Sera》。
...这首歌也成了贯穿这一个剧情的主旋律，失足少女苏米被文青江河“拯救”与规劝，并最终被其善良感动，放弃对他下手实施骗局。
...但最终失足少女还是没能被拯救，三叔与哥哥带走了她，在歧途上继续行走。
这段故事的结尾，江河望着载走苏米的汽车缓缓驶去，《Que Sera, Sera》再次响起，悲情而又讽刺。
...Que Sera, Sera并不是英语单词，一些语言学的研究认为其来源于西班牙语或者意大利语，但这个表达却只运用于英语语境之中，几种Romance languages（罗曼斯语）中都没有相对应的使用历史。因而这个表达应是西班牙语和意大利语在英语语法语境下的混用。
文本意思上，Que Sera, Sera就是Whatever will be, will be。是什么样的，就是什么样的，也可以翻译为顺其自然。
歌曲创作于1956年，创作者是Jay Livingston（杰·利文斯顿）和Ray Evans（雷·埃文斯），歌手Doris Day（多丽丝·戴）将歌曲带到Alfred
Hitchcock（希区柯克）的电影《The Man Who Knew Too Much》（擒凶记）中，她的版本随此一举走红，冲到了Billboard Hot 100的第二位，并获得当年的奥斯卡最佳歌曲奖（Academy Award for Best Original Song）。

在电影中，《Que Sera, Sera》是小孩子Hank（汉克）与妈妈Jo McKenna（乔·麦肯纳，Doris Day饰）经常一同吟唱的儿歌。
...他们一家在北非摩洛哥旅行时遭遇了绑架事件，而后小男孩Hank被劫匪囚禁在使馆中，妈妈Jo McKenna选择在使馆里表演《Que Sera, Sera》，以获得孩子的回应，并协助丈夫解救孩子。

某一天，当我也有了自己的孩子，成为一名母亲，孩子也问了我相同的问题，“长大后的生活会是什么样呢，我会变得帅气富有吗？”
她轻声地回答“Que Sera, Sera. Whatever will be, will be. The future's not ours to see”。
“Whatever will be, will be” 世事难料，Hank从没想过自己会卷入谍战阴谋并被绑架，苏米没想过自己会被生活所迫而走上歧途。
他们有的被拯救了，有的依然深陷歧途。
......但这都是他们的真实生活，或许这才是生活最终的模样，形形色色的人，走各种各样的路。
