做夢的自由，被禁锢的女性。剪紙動畫的幾場展現的效果真棒啊
絕贊且舒适的影像，一些反流俗的視角，時時刻刻的夢境流動，透視與疊加的剪影極具沖擊力。相似的經曆、相同的感受來自于父親的缺席，無論影像裡還是現實中，父親的存在可有可無，其中也沒什麼悲慘可言，他消失，又在某一天出現，派對依舊繼續，依舊歡樂。
偶然看到一出關于Ladyland的夢境，于是決定駕駛着攝影機來溯源夢的開始。“沒有幻想與幽默，智慧是貧瘠的”，于是決定發揮起變革的力量，不再膽怯，去除根源深處的害怕，撇開他人靠近時的下意識遠離（最可怕的是來自同伴的鄙夷、不解、抛棄）。穿過煉獄後重建起Ladyland，噩夢帶來的惡魔也随之跌入深淵後消逝，這場以發問式記錄來打破沉默的戰役也終在平靜中度過。無憂無慮地做夢是自由的第一步。
畫風奇異，女性主義還可以這樣談。
《蘇丹娜的夢》原為一本1905年的印度女性主義烏托邦小說。電影以此為引子，傳達知識女性的性别觀念。使用了水彩、剪紙、線條畫和極少量卡通，表示不同世界之間的轉換，當然，還是女性主權的Ladyland最精美。
