Bipedalism,or'two-footedwalking',isthestoryofapainterwhogrewupinanorphanageandonlyyearslaterlearnsthecircumstancesofhisfather'sdisappearanceanddeath.Childhoodmemoriesbringthemaincharacterbacktothepast:hebuysahouseinthesuburbsthatusedtobelongtohisfamily.Inthebasement,hefindshisfather'sarchivesandscientificresearchdocumentsonthehybridizationofhumanracewithrelatedbiologicalspecies.Studyingthearchivematerial,heunexpectedlyfindsevidenceofeffortstorenewtheexperimentsontheremaininghybridpopulation.Thepainterthenbecomesaresearcher,andconsequentlyavictim.Thebasicideaofhisfather'sresearchwastochange,controlandinfluencetheprocessofhumanevolution-initiallyconnectedwitheugenicstheoriesoftheperiodbeforeWorldWarII,andnowbeingplacedinacontextofmodern'biotechnological'expectationsbyhisformercolleagues.Themaincharactertriestorecreateandrealizehisfather'sheritage,whowasforcedtocooperatewithstateterrororganizations,usingtheresultsofhissecretresearch.Inatragicmanner,thisinformationturnsintothemaincharacter'sreality,atfirstforcinghimtoreappraisehisfather'svaluesandlaterdrivinghimtomadness.

二战时期，苏联那些鲜为人知的反人性，反科学实验。。
不是用巫术魔力造的golem 是邪恶的科技掠夺生物的优良基因 被驯化的死灵写实主义Pryamokhozhdenie比银色头颅好看
太压抑
人猿杂交实验是苏联确实做过的，所以这个片子其实是有史料可循的。不知道是不是政治或其它方面的原因，拍得缓慢、木讷而隐晦。纯从电影角度来看片子是失败的——而这个主题明明是可以拍出一部好的cult电影的。
