做梦的自由，被禁锢的女性。剪纸动画的几场展现的效果真棒啊
绝赞且舒适的影像，一些反流俗的视角，时时刻刻的梦境流动，透视与叠加的剪影极具冲击力。相似的经历、相同的感受来自于父亲的缺席，无论影像里还是现实中，父亲的存在可有可无，其中也没什么悲惨可言，他消失，又在某一天出现，派对依旧继续，依旧欢乐。
偶然看到一出关于Ladyland的梦境，于是决定驾驶着摄影机来溯源梦的开始。“没有幻想与幽默，智慧是贫瘠的”，于是决定发挥起变革的力量，不再胆怯，去除根源深处的害怕，撇开他人靠近时的下意识远离（最可怕的是来自同伴的鄙夷、不解、抛弃）。穿过炼狱后重建起Ladyland，噩梦带来的恶魔也随之跌入深渊后消逝，这场以发问式记录来打破沉默的战役也终在平静中度过。无忧无虑地做梦是自由的第一步。
画风奇异，女性主义还可以这样谈。
《苏丹娜的梦》原为一本1905年的印度女性主义乌托邦小说。电影以此为引子，传达知识女性的性别观念。使用了水彩、剪纸、线条画和极少量卡通，表示不同世界之间的转换，当然，还是女性主权的Ladyland最精美。
