“Women were soft and weak, hence unfit to rule. But a woman who showed herself to be strong was not the equivalent of a man, but a monster, a crime against nature.”

Power of men, by men, for men,在這個為男性預設的世界裡,膽敢以智慧、堅忍、果斷與強勢來質疑、發聲、挑釁甚至摧毀的女性,将被定義為she-wolf,一隻豺狼般反自然的雌性野獸,這是話語權的掌控方男性社會重寫曆史時慣用的伎倆——“how far we've come and how little has changed.”

“I know I have the body of a weak and feeble woman, but I have the heart and stomach of a king.”Elizabeth
