……really, what can i say about something like this? So typical and insufferable American ideology, perhaps explains why Hollywood cinema disgusts me. Eighty years ago there was this guy, Fitzgerald, who wrote about how shattered, how delusive is American dream; and eighty years later, after all that happened and will continue to happen, we see a film preaching how promising is this American dream, how much happyness it guarantees. Ironically, just two years after the film was shot, we saw a financial crisis in 2008, starting in the States and soon wiped the entire world.
